The sky over Farbanti was a maelstrom of fire and smoke. Mobius 1's radar flickered with contacts—enemy fighters, SAM sites, and the distant silhouette of the Yellow Squadron. Below, the capital burned as ISAF ground forces pushed through the streets, their progress marked by pillars of black smoke. The radio crackled with urgent calls for air support, voices clipped and desperate. Mobius 1 banked hard, his missile lock tone screaming as he engaged a pursuing Su-35. The Erusean pilot broke left, but Mobius 1's aim was true—a single missile turned the enemy into a fireball that spiraled down through the haze. As the wreckage tumbled, he saw them: four yellow-striped fighters climbing to meet him, their formation tight and predatory. This was it—the final dance. He pulled back on the stick, afterburners blazing, and dove into the heart of the enemy formation, the G-forces pressing him into his seat as the city blurred below.
