The war was also marked by the shadowy influence of a secret organization known as the Grey Men, who manipulated both sides to prolong the fighting for their own ends—a conspiracy that nearly tore the Osean and Yuktobanian alliances apart from within.

In Their Own Story

The sky over the Ceres Ocean was a canvas of fire and smoke. Captain Marcus Snow, callsign 'Heartbreak One,' banked his F-14D Tomcat hard to avoid a volley of missiles from a Yuktobanian Su-27.
